Dear Randolph Families,

Welcome to Kindergarten!  The kindergarten teachers and all of the staff at Randolph are very excited to work with all of you this year. For the 2017 – 2018 school year I, Mrs. Mitchell, will be your child’s kindergarten teacher.

I believe that hard work, kindness, learning and fun should go hand in hand in the classroom.

This year is my ninteenth year of teaching and I grow to love this profession more every year.  Each new year brings with it exciting challenges and unlimited learning opportunities.  My husband David is also a teacher in Livonia, at Holmes Middle School and we have two children who attend Livonia Public Schools.  Our daughter, Emily, will be in eighth grade this year and our son Justin will be in seventh grade. We live in Livonia and love this community and all that it has to offer, especially the excellent school system!  It is going to be an outstanding year of learning for your child, and I am honored to be a part of it.  Thank you in advance for working with me as a team to allow for the best possible education for your child.

Randolph Elementary is a fantastic place for your child to learn and grow!

If you and your family are brand new to Randolph, allow me to extend a warm welcome to you.  You have placed your child in an outstanding school with the most dedicated and caring staff I know.  If you have older children who currently attend or have attended Randolph in the past, welcome back!  I look forward to being part of your newest Roadrunner's life.

I will be happy when I can meet you, and I am looking forward to working with you in order to make this year a beneficial one for you and your kindergartener.  I believe that communication is the key to success, so if you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me either by emailing me, calling the school, or sending a note in with your child.  You are also welcome to stop in anytime for a visit, our classroom door is always open!
