Meet Mrs. Francis

Meet Mrs. Francis

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Francis and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. I am so excited to start learning with both you and your child! Along with myself, your kindergartner will likely be working with several other members of the support staff at Randolph throughout the school day/year.

This year is my 25th year of teaching, and I love it! Teaching is an amazing profession. Every year I am humbled and inspired by the growth children make academically and socially. There is no other career that allows a front row seat to the development of a human being. Each new year brings with it exciting challenges and unlimited learning opportunities. I am eager to get started. Thank you in advance for your willingness to work together as a team in your child's education.

I have four children of my own, so I understand how it feels to be on both sides of the classroom door. I have three boys - Jake, 27; Max, 22; and Sam, 15. My daughter, Maggie, is 13, and will be entering eight grade this fall. My children are all so amazing in their own unique ways. My belief is that we are all amazing in something--just  not everything. My job is to discover the "amazingness" in each and every child and use that strength to tackle everything else successfully.

I am looking forward to meeting you, and working with you in order to make this year a beneficial one for you and your kindergartner. I believe that communication is the key to success, so if you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me, either by emailing me, calling the school, or sending a note in with your child. You are also welcome to stop in anytime for a visit; my door is always open!
